What does the Bible say?
Romans 7:17 – As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. (NIV)
Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.
Proverbs 17:22 – A happy heart is a good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing but a broken spirit dries up the bones. (AMPC)
Proverbs 14:30 – A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy and wrath are like rottenness of the bones. (AMPC)
These demonic spirits do not have a body to act out their nature. That’s why they seek embodiment and influencing man to act out their nature. Each time we have a thought, we need to discern where the thought originate from.
1 Corinthians 12:10 – …to another distinguishing between spirits,… (gifts of the Holy Spirit)
1 John 4:1 – Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 Corinthians 10:5 – We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
We believe in a Triune God. Do we realize that He had created us to be a triune being of Spirit, Soul and Body ?
1 Thessalonians 5:23
Isaiah 50:2 says that it is our iniquities (sin) that have separated us from our God.
Definition of holiness or to be holy is to separate yourself from the world for God.
Holiness produces more wholeness which results in good health in our spirit, soul and body.
Paul says in 2 Cor 7:1 – Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
(John 17:17) Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
